The Associate of Science in Business Administration (ASBA) degree program is designed to provide a strong base consisting of business fundamentals that can prepare students to enter today's competitive business world. The program focuses on teaching students key business administration techniques, including critical-thinking and decision-making skills, and incorporates that knowledge with the communication skills every student needs to be successful.

Students enrolled in the program will have the opportunity to gain practical, real-world knowledge from our professors-all of whom bring real-world business experience to the classroom.

The Associate of Science in Business Administration satisfies the course requirements for the first two years of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree program.

What skills can I learn?

Students who successfully complete the ASBA degree program should be able to:

• Demonstrate knowledge of the basic functional areas of management.
• Apply appropriate concepts and principles of accounting and management to participate in effective decision making.
• Explain the nature and role of business in the American society.

What are some possible career opportunities?

Since general business managers plan, organize, direct, control and coordinate the operations of an organization and its major departments of programs, they are found in nearly all organizations.
