Program offered is a Bachelor Degree.
What children experience early in their education will give them a foundation that prepares them to be successful learners in the future. To address this need, CCU designed the early childhood education bachelor's degree and licensure program to equip teachers by combining practical course work in early childhood and curriculum development with preschool administration and management training. This unique combination develops educators who are dedicated to addressing diverse learner needs with excellence through servant-leadership in their field and in society. Students in the early childhood education degree program graduate from the program with the skills, experience, and credentials necessary to teach preschool through third grade. (Colorado State teaching for Early Childhood Education licensure requires a passing score on the PLACE exam.)
