History
Collins College was formerly known
as Al Collins Graphic Design School. Prior to 1997, Al Collins Graphic
Design School emphasized programs in the Visual Communication fields of
study, such as graphic design, digital video, computer graphics, and computer
animation. Since 1997, programs in Information Technology fields have
been implemented, such as Computer Networking. The new name better reflects
our present and future program offerings.
Financial Aid
Collins College has a financial plan for everyone. In fact, we participate in a variety of financial aid programs for those who qualify. Information and guidance about specific programs are available in our Tuition Planning Office.
We encourage you to apply for admission and financial aid as soon as possible so that you don't miss the starting date for a specific program. As an applicant, you're required to complete a personal interview with an admissions representative either in person, online or by telephone, depending upon the distance from school. This way, you can see our facilities and equipment and ask questions about career objectives and curriculum.
Admissions
All applicants are required to complete a personal interview with an Admissions representative, either in person, online or by telephone, depending on the distance from the school. Parents and/or significant others are encouraged to attend for an opportunity to learn more about the school's industry current classrooms, labs and studios. This allows everyone to ask questions relating to Collins College's curriculum and career objectives.
