The Vocational Nursing program has been designed to prepare with nursing skills for direct patient care.

The program provides the Charter student with the fundamentals of nursing.  The program emphasizes theory, as well as hands-on practice.  Charter graduates of this program will be qualified for the entry level position as a vocational nurse, functioning as part of the interdisciplinary hetitleh care team in selected hetitleh care settings with individuals, families, and communities across the life span. 

Employment in this field requires a license and the Charter Vocational Nursing program prepares you for the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical/Vocational Nurses (NCLEX-PN Examination).
