Medical Assisting program is designed to provide you with comprehensive medical assisting skills, including intensive training in four areas:

• Administration- learning to maintain medical records, legal requirements of confidentiality, insurance coding, and other front office skills.
• Clinical - working with patients, taking vital sings and preparing the patient for treatment.
• Laboratory - learning to draw blood, perform a variety of laboratory tests, and giving injections.
• Externship - the 160 hour externship, where you will work under supervision in a doctor's office or clinic, will give you the opportunity to use all your skills and gain confidence in your abilities as a medical professional.
