Capps College (Capps Medical Institute in Florida) is a family comprised of people who are sincerely committed to your success. We believe in doing one thing and doing it well. Since our founding in 1984, Capps has focused all its expertise on medical programs of study. We are the only school in the area that exclusively offers medical related training. Your trust and the trust of the medical community is our top priority.

Capps College was founded in Mobile, AL in January 1984 to meet the post-secondary allied health educational needs of the residents of the greater gulfcoast area. The College offers instruction in allied health occupations and related vocational skills above the high school level. In 1997 a branch campus location was opened in Pensacola, Florida and operates under the name, Capps Medical Institute. An additional branch campus location of Capps College was opened in January 2000 in Montgomery, Alabama. Capps College also opened a campus in Foley, AL in June 1996 and opened a branch of the Foley campus in Dothan, AL in June 2003.
