CBT College's Associate Degree in Electrical Technology is designed to prepare our students with the hands-on training to become a knowledge and competent technician by developing the necessary abilities to succeed in this important technological field. The academic curriculum covers current use of the National Electrical Code, and the teaching methods used in classrooms will allow future graduates to undertake procedures of installation, read blueprints, understand and interpret technical specifications, and participate in tasks of project change, remodeling and repair.

Courses included in the curriculum such as Electrical DC Circuit, AC Circuits Blue Print and Electrical materials create a solid theoretical and practical foundation for more advanced courses such as: Residential, Commercial and Industrial Wiring. A complete study of motors and its respective controls as well as the analysis of the most used PLCs in the industrial field, complement the content of this program.
