Interior Design
Brown College designed its Interior Design program to provide students with a solid foundation for an entry-level position in the interior design industry. Students can learn how to develop design concepts for interior spaces and transform these concepts into practical, functional, and innovative environments that meet their clients' needs.
Students can use architectural drafting, space planning, and computer-aided design as they have an opportunity to develop new concepts and refine their individual skills and talents. Students will also be instructed in building systems, regulations, and current business practices to help them prepare for internships and professional careers in interior design. The program's General Education curriculum is designed to develop the communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills sought by today's employers.
