Network Development
Brown College designed its Network Development program to help prepare students for entry-level positions in the technology industry. The program offers a strong emphasis on hands-on learning and computer-based training opportunities.
The program is designed to familiarize students with the installation and upgrading of both hardware and software components. The program also provides LAN/WAN training, including network set-up, configuration, and management, by using industry standard client/server platforms.
Additional topics include troubleshooting, help desk operations, end-user support, and evolving technologies. The program's General Education curriculum is designed to develop the human relations and problem-solving skills sought by today's employers.
