The curriculum of Brooks Institute's Bachelor of Science in Visual Journalism degree program focuses on the digital formats of photography, video and the supporting software programs needed to be competitive in today's photojournalism industry.

This Visual Journalism degree program is designed to help prepare the student to be knowledgeable in the current methods of digital capture for still images and video, in the editing of those images, and in their post production. Our Visual Journalism courses give students the chance to produce images for circumstances which closely parallel actual on-the-job professional situations through photographic assignments.
