The Associate of Applied Science degree in Information Technology will provide students with the computer skills and knowledge needed to gain entry-level positions as desktop support specialists, network support technicians, operating systems specialists, application support specialists, help desk technicians, or PC technicians. Through lectures, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and other activities, students will learn information technology fundamentals, networking, software development, databases, security, and maintenance.
In addition, students will complete courses in communications, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences, which are designed to develop essential academic skills for enhanced and continued learning.
