Overview

Objectives

Berks Technical Institute (BTI) is committed to the advancement of career education and dedicated to individuals who desire to improve themselves and their opportunity for career success. Teaching new skills to students, refining the skills of those who want to progress in their career and helping students find gainful and satisfying employment in business or industry is BTI's overall objective.

BTI programs are designed to provide students with skills that are marketable today and with the knowledge that will allow students to grow and realize their maximum career potential. An effective career assistance service makes it possible for BTI to fulfill its objective to provide a needed and valuable service to business and industry, the community and most importantly, the student.

Philosophy

BTI believes in serving its students by providing quality programs implemented by a competent and dedicated faculty. This belief ensures the student receives the foundation necessary to realize their potential in their chosen career.

Education should be responsive to the changing requirements of business and industry. This is one of BTI's top priorities. To keep programs compatible with today's needs, BTI relies heavily on feedback from its graduates and the employers who hire its graduates. BTI endeavors to teach tomorrow's needed skills today.

The quality of the faculty, the facility and the equipment is always under evaluation to ensure the student receives the best education possible. "Learn By Doing" is the key to BTI's programs so that students understand what is being taught. This philosophy is incorporated into all programs to provide a realistic, "real work" environment.
