BS - Justice Studies - Criminal Justice

Facing new and unanticipated domestic and international challenges, the American Justice System and the roles of agencies and individuals involved in law enforcement are constantly being redefined. Built on a solid base in business and technology, this program is designed to prepare graduates with the technological and management skills required for successful careers in justice administration. With elective courses in specialized areas such as Terrorism, Cyber Crime, Global Security, and Intelligence, students have the opportunity to analyze emerging issues in the field and focus their studies in a single area such as policing or security.

All campuses are accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104

The New York City and Westchester Campuses are authorized by the New York State Board of Regents to confer the degrees of Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.), Associate in Science (A.S.), and Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.); the Westchester Campus is also authorized to award the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. All programs offered by the New York campuses are registered by the New York State Education Department.

The New Jersey campuses are licensed as a college and authorized by the New Jersey Commission on Higher Education to confer the degrees of Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Associate in Science (A.S.), and Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.).

The Paralegal Studies program at all campuses is approved by the American Bar Association (ABA).

All campuses are approved for the education of veterans and their eligible dependents, for rehabilitative training of physically challenged students, and for foreign students.
