AAS - Medical Insurance, Billing, and Coding

The A.A.S. degree in Health Services Administration - Medical Insurance, Billing, and Coding is designed to develop students' abilities to collect, process, and use information essential to the well-being of the health services industry and its clients. With an understanding of business functions essential to the success of the health services industry and hands-on experience with coding and health services technology applications, students will be prepared for careers in a variety of healthcare operations including practitioners' officers, hospitals, and long-term care facilities, as well as billing and insurance companies.

All campuses are accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104

The New York City and Westchester Campuses are authorized by the New York State Board of Regents to confer the degrees of Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.), Associate in Science (A.S.), and Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.); the Westchester Campus is also authorized to award the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. All programs offered by the New York campuses are registered by the New York State Education Department.

The New Jersey campuses are licensed as a college and authorized by the New Jersey Commission on Higher Education to confer the degrees of Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Associate in Science (A.S.), and Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.).

The Paralegal Studies program at all campuses is approved by the American Bar Association (ABA).

All campuses are approved for the education of veterans and their eligible dependents, for rehabilitative training of physically challenged students, and for foreign students.
