The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Associate of Science degree from Bay State College is perfect for anyone who wants a career that helps people regain movement and function-and that offers many opportunities for professional and personal growth. Our program is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). In addition to classroom and lab, all of our PTA students must participate in three 6-7 week clinical affiliations for a total of 240 hours of critical hands-on experience. The mission of the Bay State College Physical Therapist Assistant Program is to provide academic and clinical training leading to an associate degree in Physical Therapy for students who want to practice as Physical Therapist Assistants.
