Massage Technique Program
If you want to play a key role in the health and well-being of others without years of schooling, this is your opportunity. Massage is one of the most popular of the natural healing arts. It is used around the world to promote and restore health. The stresses of daily life, sports and fitness activities and the aging process have increased the demand for massage to relieve aches and pains, promote relaxation and restore the body to optimal function. Today, massage is often integrated with traditional medical practices as a necessary component of the rehabilitation process.
In our comprehensive training program you’ll learn the theory and techniques of massage, including massage styles for children, athletes and seniors; specific movements and strokes; clinical applications; methods for specialized situations and treatments; equipment and supplies; and much more.
There are no educational prerequisites or experience requirements to enroll. Many states and municipalities regulate massage by requiring practitioners to be licensed or certified, and please note this course does not lead to licensing or certification. But you don’t have to pursue massage as a career to experience its rewards. Practical home study training from Ashworth University makes learning massage easy and fun.
