Early Childhood Education

The Associate Degree Program in Early Childhood Education is comprised of twenty comprehensive courses with clear, logical lessons. They are easy to follow, yet challenging and stimulating at the same time. Each lesson begins with a subject matter preview and objectives, and an introductory note from your instructor.
Early childhood educators contribute to the care, education, social development and ultimately the happiness and achievement of infants, toddlers and preschool children. Duties vary and, depending on where you work, you may find yourself:
- Teaching in the classroom
- Tutoring students individually
- Storytelling
- Planning curricula
- Supervising infants
- Coordinating art projects
- Assisting in administration
- Consulting with parents
