Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Psychology
The Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Psychology Program is designed pursue a career in clinical psychology. The program introduces students to basic clinical skills that enable them to serve the mental health needs of populations with diverse backgrounds. Students who use the master's degree as a means of entering a professional career receive theoretical background and professional training under the supervision of a highly qualified, practitioner-oriented faculty. The graduates of this program are then able to apply theoretical and clinical knowledge to individuals and groups in need of mental healthcare. The program can also serve as a preliminary step to the doctorate degree. In certain states, students holding an MA in Clinical Psychology are eligible to sit for licensure.
