Limited X-ray
The Limited X-ray Program, combined with the Medical Assistant Program, provides a full scope of training in anatomy and physiology, office procedures, clinical procedures, and limited X-ray services. Graduates of the combined program work as Medical Assistants with expanded duties in radiography in medical offices and clinics. Throughout the Limited X-Ray Program, students are given the opportunity to practice skills in the energized X-Ray lab on campus, as well as in an energized X-Ray lab in an actual office or clinic. Upon completion of all classroom instruction and practical skills training, students perform learned skills during a 240 hour externship in a physician's office, clinic, or other facility.
