Our Associate of Applied Science degree in Massage Therapy will prepare you for a position in the exciting field of massage therapy. Our Massage Therapy program stresses personal development, as well as communication skills, to ready you for all aspects of a successful career, including therapeutic massage techniques and ethical responsibility. With successful completion of this program, you will be prepared to take the Ohio state licensing exam, Mississippi State Board licensing examination, MBLEX and national exams in massage therapy.

Our program starts with the basics about how the body functions, moves and processes. You’ll learn to perform massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, tai chi, hydrotherapy, body wraps and exfoliations. Our curriculum also will introduce you to energy work and explain how chi – or energy – flows throughout the body.

Our program will help you stand out by having formal training in the massage therapy field. Today 33 states and the District of Columbia now regulate massage therapists, and almost all of these states now require a minimum of 500 hours or more from state-recognized training programs.
