Program offered is an Associate.
Our Associate of Applied Business degree in Graphic Design prepares students for successful careers in advertising, marketing, promotion, print publication, publication design and interactive media. Our program stresses fundamental design theory and practices through real-world design exercises and projects. Our graphic design courses help you develop the skills necessary to conceive an idea, nurture it and develop it. Creative skills will be simultaneously coupled with skills in digital imaging to create functional and interesting visual communications that provide a powerful impact on the viewer.
Graphic designers can be found in a variety of roles. Some graphic designers create brochures and ads to promote products or services, logos for businesses, visual designs for company reports, and other print materials. Others work on design and layout for magazines or various publications. They can also be found working in television or film, designing the credits that appear at the beginning or end of a show or movie. Web designers choose the colors and images and design the layout of a website to make it more appealing. No matter the career path, as a graphic designer, you will use your knowledge of layout and design principles to guide your creations.
