Anthem College-Aurora trains students to perform x-ray and electrocardiograms through its Associate of Applied Science in Limited Scope X-Ray Technician.
Students take in-depth courses in anatomy of the spine, skull, and torso-skeletal system. They learn proper patient care and positioning techniques, radiologic procedures and radiation safety. They complete training in laboratory procedures, injections, venipuncture and blood collection.
The associate program provides the foundation for long-term career opportunities and includes classes and skills to boost professional development. Students take courses in ethics, communication, healthcare compliance and computer applications, in addition to clinical courses.
