Anthem College – Orlando is expanding its basic x-ray machine operator training with a new Associate in Science in X-ray Technician. This new program ensures that graduates have the skills and knowledge necessary to meet the varied and expanding requirements of entry-level basic x-ray machine operator positions.
The comprehensive program teaches students anatomy of the skull, spine, chest and extremities. Students learn back office skills such as venipuncture, EKG, administration of topical and oral medications and injections. Students are also taught patient care skills to properly perform x-ray exams.
