Pharmacy Technician
What Kind of Work Do We Prepare You To Do? Upon graduation, you will be qualified to work as Pharmacy Technician in retail pharmacies, hospitals, clinics and more. As a licensed pharmacist's right hand man (or woman), you will help prepare prescribed medication for patients. Your training from Allied College prepares you to retrieve, count, pour, weigh and measure the prescription medication. Prescriptions, which are checked by a pharmacist before being given to a patient, must then be priced and filed. You may also maintain patient profiles, prepare insurance forms, and stock and take inventory of medications.
