What Kind of Work Do We Prepare You To Do?
When you graduate, you'll be qualified to work as a Dental Assistant or a
Chairside Assistant in dental offices and clinics.
Using what you've learned at Allied College, you provide instruments and materials to dentists, keep patients' mouths clear, sterilize instruments and equipment, and prepare tray setups for dental procedures.
During a patient exam, you may also instruct patients on proper oral care, remove sutures, apply anesthetics to gums or cavity-preventive agents to teeth, and more.

Massage Therapy
What Does Our Massage Therapy Program Offer You?
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology in relation to soft tissue injury and treatment
- Supervised training in traditional Swedish massage and other treatments like hydrotherapy, sports massage, deep tissue massage, chair massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, lymphatic drainage and spa treatments
- Direction for the use of proper body mechanics for injury prevention
- Education in nutrition, stress management and wellness
- Training in first aid, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Comprehensive study of skills needed to start and operate a Massage Therapy business

Upon graduation, you will be qualified to work as a Massage Therapist in sports clinics, resorts, spas, physical therapy offices, athletic clubs, yoga centers and more.

What Kind of Work Do We Prepare You To Do?
Upon graduation, you will be qualified to work as a Medical Assistant, a Medical Receptionist, a Medical Bookkeeper or a Laboratory Assistant in physicians' offices, hospitals, nursing homes and more.
Your Allied College training makes you a key person in the medical office. You update patient medical records, fill out insurance forms, schedule appointments, arrange for hospital admission and laboratory services, and handle billing and bookkeeping.
Duties may also include taking medical histories and recording vital signs, explaining treatment procedures to patients, preparing patients for exams, and assisting physicians.

What Kind of Work Do We Prepare You To Do?
Upon graduation, you will be qualified to work as a Medical Biller and/or Coder in hospitals, nursing homes, medical group practices, home health agencies, clinics and more.
URelying upon your Allied College training, you assemble patient info before and after treatment, recording their symptoms and medical history, the results of their exams, x-ray reports, lab tests, diagnoses and treatment plans.
Your primary duties are to evaluate records for completeness and ensure that essential info is in the computer. You may also analyze data to help improve patient care, control costs, for use in legal actions, in response to surveys, or for use in research.

Pharmacy Technician
What Does Our Pharmacy Technician Program Offer You?
- Study of the anatomy and physiology of the body and of drugs/antibiotics used to treat common diseases
- Familiarity with prescription and non-prescription drugs, herbal remedies and dietary supplements
- Training with regard to the functions of hospital pharmacies; how to interpret physician's orders, maintain records, complete orders, fill unit dose carts, stock floor inventory, and more
- Training with regard to the functions of retail pharmacies; how to process drug orders, maintain inventory, calculate dosing, price and stock medication, and more
- An introduction to federal and state pharmacy laws
- An externship at a clinical site
What Kind of Work Do We Prepare You To Do?
Upon graduation, you will be qualified to work as Pharmacy Technician in retail pharmacies, hospitals, clinics and more.
As a licensed pharmacist's right hand man (or woman), you help prepare prescribed medication for patients. Your training from Allied College prepares you to retrieve, count, pour, weigh and measure the prescription medication.
Prescriptions, which are checked by a pharmacist before being given to a patient, must then be priced and filed. You may also maintain patient profiles, prepare insurance forms, and stock and take inventory of medications.

What Kind of Work Do We Prepare You To Do?
Upon graduation, you will be qualified to
sit for the NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing)
TECH in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) NCCT Certification Examination.
After passing this evaluation, you will be
qualified to work as a Surgical Technologist in hospital operating
rooms, delivery rooms, clinics, surgical centers and more.
As a Surgical Technologist, you'll assist
in surgical procedures under the supervision of surgeons and
nurses or other surgical personnel. Your Allied College training
will give you the expertise you need to set up operating instruments,
supplies and equipment, prepare patients for surgery, assist
