Algonquin Careers Academy has been providing private adult career training since 1981. Small classrooms sizes are complemented by teachers who are professionals in their field, and understand and believe in students’ career choices.Through established working relationships with employers, Algonquin Academy offers you the opportunity to obtain real-world experience through non-paid co-op work placements. Through these co-op placements, you are able to apply academic lessons to your profession, gain confidence in your skills, and open doors to future employment.Programs include Accounting and Payroll, Fitness and Health Promotion, Medical Lab/Office Assistant, Paralegal, Pharmacy Technician and Travel Counselor. Online and Certificate programs are also available in select disciplines.
