Computerized Bookkeeping & Accounting
Course Description: This course
is designed to prepare the student to perform the accounting
and bookkeeping functions commonly found in a small to medium
size business. Topics include: double entry accounting, account
setup, analyzing and recording transactions, special journals,
accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash disbursements
and cash receipts.
Students learn through realistic accounting simulations and
projects utilizing computer accounting software. Students are
trained on both QuickBooks and Peachtree software applications.
