Academy College is a locally owned career college located in Bloomington, Minnesota. In existence since 1936, Academy College is pleased to offer you a variety of professional training programs in the areas of Business & Finance, Medical, Aviation, Computer Technology, Animation and Digital Arts & Design.
Academy College offers Bachelor Degrees, Associate Degrees, and certificate programs all geared to help you achieve your career or continuing educational objectives. We also offer a full on-line Business Degree Program, which has supported many busy professionals in reaching their highest potential.

Special Features
- Specialized, comprehensive programs that prepare students for a challenging, exciting, and financially rewarding career.
- Classes available mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends are taught by specialists with the current work experience in their field. These standards will provide an effective base of principles, theory, and insights into their daily application.
- Emphasis on extended lab time for all areas of study allowing a high degree of access to instructors during this time.
- Three levels of academic programs are offered at the Academy: Certificates, Associate of Applied Science degrees, and Bachelor of Science degrees. Students may elect to obtain their job entry skills, obtain employment, and then return to the Academy to earn their AAS and BS degrees.

Financial Aid
The Academy College recognizes that many students will need financial assistance. All students who plan to register should contact the school to arrange for a personal interview to discuss and complete financial assistance applications. The following programs are available to students:
- Minnesota State Grant Program is available to Minnesota residents; the dollar amount changes annually.
- Pell Grant Program (Federal) is currently available to half-time and full-time undergraduate students; the maximum dollar amount changes annually.
- The Academic Competitiveness Grant(ACG) is available to full-time, first-time students who have completed a rigorous high school program of study and are in their first or second academic year of school; the dollar amount changes annually. Students must have a 3.0 GPA at the end of their first year to receive a the ACG grant for their second year.
- The National Science and Mathematics Access to Retain Talent(SMART) Grant is available to students who are completing a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and who are in their third or fourth academic year of school; the dollar amount changes annually. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA to receive this grant..
- Federal Student Educational Opportunities Grant(FSEOG) is currently available to undergraduate students who exhibit extreme financial need.
