The master's degree in Information Technology is designed to instruct students in industry-current information technology trends and applications. Students can work in teams to complete applied technology projects. The courses should educate students in five key areas: business, IT networks, basic computer programming, data administration and project application. AIU encourages professional awareness and preparedness through knowledge of industry examination and certification standards within specialties. In this curriculum, which is based on industry needs, students should encounter not only technical challenges but the business side of the IT industry that requires behavioral, change management and leadership skills. A full time Master degree in information technology can be completed in as little as eleven months.
